mask behind the man"
John
was researching a documentary on stand-up comedy when he did his first gig -
he stormed and he was hooked.
From
that first gig in ' 96 he quickly established himself as one of the top new
talents in the country. He went on to appear in many international comedy festivals,
televised comedy galas and stand-up shows. His stand-up has seen him travel
all over NZ, to Australia, New York and more recently East Timor.
He
has also acted in a variety of dramas in theatre, TV and film and presented
shows in prime time, (hey, he was even a finalist in Cleo Bachelor of
the year).
John's
university credits include a BA, Senior History Prize and postgraduate
Diploma in Broadcasting.
